The International Council for Game and Wildlife Conservation (CIC) and Dallas Safari Club (DSC) signed a joint Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), formalizing their partnership to benefit wildlife conservation, and support sustainable wildlife use and the livelihoods of rural and Indigenous people.
This partnership provides the opportunity to leverage the combined reach and influence of DSC’s and CIC’s knowledge, programs and networks to effectively guide policy in a way that encourages science-based wildlife management. DSC and CIC will work diligently on all matters impacting hunters internationally.
CIC President, George Aman stated, “CIC and DSC have been successfully working together for a number of years. Both organisations bring something unique to the table. Formalising the collaboration with DSC strengthens our existing close relationship with them, and will help us work towards a world that values and supports sustainable hunting for the benefit of people and nature.”
