Europe’s Wildlife in Breathtaking Photographs

Eugčne Reiter: Passion

Europe is more than just a geographic and political unit. It is a continent with an almost unbelievable opulence of nature and biodiversity. Eugčne Reiter, a gifted and impassioned photographer, for many years has been travelling with his camera trough the wilds from the Atlantic Ocean to Ural and from Lapland to the Mediterranean Sea.

Together with the most important international organisations for wildlife conservation through sustainable hunting, he now presents the result – a high-class coffee-table book with brilliant photographs of Europe’s fascinating wildlife. The accompanying texts - in three languages, English, German and French - , written by Yves Lecocq, Secretary General of FACE and CIC's Director General Kai-Uwe Wollscheid provide amazing background information about the species and the natural wealth of this part of the world, while the prefaces are from CIC President Dieter Schramm and FACE President Gilbert de Turckheim.

Longstanding CIC Member Eugčne Reiter was an enthusiastic hunter for many years and still represents Luxemburg in CIC and FACE. Years ago he exchanged his guns for the camera to devote himself to his second passion, the wildlife photography.
