Call for Nominations: Literary Award

The CIC annually awards prizes for outstanding publications at the occasion of its General Assembly. The Jury gives awards in the following 5 categories:

 

Technical Prize: A work about the research and science of huntable game.

 

Artistic Prize: For exceptionally interesting and artistically valuable publications about huntable game.

 

Literary Prize: For hunting and nature adventures, which communicate the joy of hunting and nature not only to a small group of people but to a broad public.

 

Environmental Prize: The purpose of this prize is to award published educational works, which support the understanding of the needs of hunting, the hunters, environmental issues, as well as those of game and its natural habitat amongst the public.

 

Cultural Prize: For the lifetime work of an author.

 

Rules for submitting a book for one of the CIC Literary Prizes

The following must be received by every member of the jury NOT LATER THAN 17 FEBRUARY 2012:

 

1. A recommendation by the head of the respective country delegation.

2. In the recommendation it should be stated for which of the 5 above mentioned awards the book is submitted

3. One copy of the book accompanied by a 1 page synopsis in English.

4. A short biography of the author
