We are pleased to announce that Dr. Arto Marjakangas will take the position of CIC Representative in the Technical Committee of the African-Eurasian Waterbird Agreement (AEWA).

 

Dr. Marjakangas is currently working for the Finnish Wildlife Agency. Before joining the Agency he served as Project Manager in the Natural Heritage Services of Metsähallitus (the Finnish State Forest & Wildlife Enterprise).

 

Dr. Marjakangas has a vast experience in the field of wildlife research. Lately he has been specialized in game management plans, currently with special focus on the Bean Goose (Anser fabalis). He is a respected wildlife specialist with a broad knowledge of AEWA related issues.
