As part of the Hungary’s World Conservation Forum 2021 (WCF 2021), Aitalina Fedorova (Etno-Theatre of Indigenous Peoples of the North “Arctic Sounds”) gave a main stage presentation entitled, Sailing with Nature’s Forces – The Indigenous Perspective. Head of the Division Coordination Unit of the CIC, Dr. Kristóf Hecker, was the moderator for this event.

The WCF 2021 took place within the framework of the One with Nature – World of Hunting and Nature Exhibition. It provided a platform for individuals, organisations, associations – from the private, public, and non-profit sectors – to tackle some of the world’s most pressing issues related to conservation and wildlife management.

The presentation provided an insight into the indigenous peoples of Russia, their lives and traditions, as well as their perspective on the sustainable use of natural resources.
