Ever since the dawn of time mankind has sought to conserve the memory of its activities, such as in the caves of Altamira. Nature and hunting have inspired artists of all ages.

Today, many of us no longer live in such close symbiosis with nature. Only relatively recently have we begun to realize that we will have to pay for our thoughtless use of our natural resources. Hunters, though, protect and admire nature; they sustain it and harvest its fruits.

Cultural treasures are witnesses of hunting as an essential tradition of mankind. The appreciation of hunting in art, we hope, will contribute to better understanding of the importance of sustainable hunting for the maintenance of all nature’s beauty.
