After months of preparations, it is our pleasure to officially launch registrations for the 70th General Assembly in Cascais!
With its beautiful landscapes, rich culture and warm people, Cascais will serve as the ideal location for deliberation, discussion and celebration of all things CIC.
This General Assembly will mark the organisation’s return to Portugal after a period of 60 years, with the CIC last hosting its General Assembly in Lisbon back in 1963.
And with this special return, we will be bringing you an equally special and action-packed agenda.
Held under the theme Bridges to Biodiversity, this General Assembly will explore the CIC’s role as a convener and bridge-builder in the sustainable use sector and beyond.
Perhaps most importantly, the 2030 CIC Strategic Programme will be presented and adopted as part of proceedings, laying down the path for the CIC’s work up until the end of this decade, which will also coincide with the 100th anniversary of the CIC.
All this means Cascais is shaping up to be one of our most significant General Assemblies in recent history.
Do not miss out on your chance to be there at the start of the next chapter for the CIC.
