We are pleased to announce that the CIC is taking nominations for the Edmond Blanc Prize 2024!

The Edmond Blanc Prize awards outstanding efforts in wildlife conservation and game management that are based on the principles of sustainable wildlife use.

Previous winners include the Nyae Nyae Conservancy in Namibia for their application of the principles of Community Based Natural Resource Management (CBNRM), as well the German Wildlife Foundation for their project Gut Klepelshagen, which demonstrated how agriculture and forestry can be harmonised with wildlife conservation in a 2,600-hectare model farm.

If you know of any organisations, associations or game reserves that would qualify for this Prize, we want to hear from you!

Please send us a summary of your candidate for nomination, their contributions to conservation and sustainable use, as well as examples of their past work.

The winner will be announced as part of the proceedings at the 70th General Assembly in Cascais (18-21 April 2024).

Deadline: 31 March 2024
